October 4: Inauguration of the new building and Dasara Festival with Doll Show:

The newly constructed wing of the school was formally inaugurated on Oct 4, 2019, by his holiness Sri Sri Yathiraja Ramanuja Jeeyar, pontiff of the Yathiraja Swamy Mutt, Malleshwaram. The spiritual guru also had a view of the arrangement of dolls in 6 different rooms in the new building. His Holiness addressed the gathering and showered his blessings to the school, and the people associated with it. The talented musicians including Deepthi Mohan (erstwhile student) rendered beautiful verses, followed by some faculty members.

The Doll show was organized from Oct 4 to Oct 14, in the School Premises of the new building. Six rooms were used for the show. The dolls were arranged theme-wise, like Ganesha, Saraswasthi, Traditional arrangement, culture and traditions of India, toys, Tourist Spots, Ramayana and Puppet Show. Each theme had its own unique features. The live puppet show was the most attractive part, with the talented teachers and students of the school, creating hand-made puppets, and giving them life by adding voices, movements and liveliness to the characters.

On Oct 5, the school had the privilege to have Sri. Bache Gowda, Member of Parliament, Chikkaballapur constituency, as the chief guest, continuing with the inaugural function of the new building of the school. The parliamentarian addressed the gathering with his usual flair and spirit.

On October 6, Ayudha Puja was celebrated in the school premises. The drivers and cleaners of the school buses, cleaned and decorated the school vans. All the equipments used in the school, like lab equipments, sports equipments, library books and various other tools were revered and ritualistic puja was performed.

The Doll show was open to public till Oct 14, on which day the school reopened after the vacation.

October 15: Musical extravaganza by Berkley School of Music troup.

A confluence of Indian, Iranian and Avant Garde Jazz music was a magical coming together through the upcoming fusion music band SANYOG lead by the talented violinist Apoorva Krishna from the Berkeley college of Music, Boston. The co-artists of the evening were Vid.Sunaad Anoor on the Khanjira and Drums, Vid Anoor Vinod Shyam on the Mridangam and drums ( both of them from Bangalore), Hami Keivan on the Piano from Iran and Jerzy Mączyński from Poland on the Saxophone . They enthralled the audience that included students, staff and invited artists and friends for more than an hour with full of life and joyfulness. It was a highly energized power packed performance which included fusion of Carnatic classical raags like Hamsanada, Abheri, Keeravani and others with soulful pieces which were original compositions of the Artists from Iran and Poland. Students, Teachers and everybody in the audience applauded the artists immensely for this unique musical presentation and our Chairman thanked and felicitated the artists on behalf of the School.
