International Yoga Day
8th International Yoga day was celebrated by THE SMART SCHOOL on 21st June 2022. The main objective of this yoga day celebration was to create awareness about the importance of yoga practice and its holistic approach to physical and mental well-being of mankind. Around 550 students from Grades VII to X performed different asanas under the guidance of school yoga instructor Shri Ananada K and their benefits to human body was explained by Student yoga leaders. School Chairman Shri Shamasundar Sharma appreciated the performance of students and motivated students and teachers by his speech to continue the practice of yoga for their well being.
Student council election
The Smart School has been providing various opportunities for students to hone their leadership skills. Student council election is also one such opportunity to demonstrate their leadership skills .Student council election was held on 13th June 2022 through E- Ballet.The school had fixed varied a criteria for filing nomination by contestants. Student contestants presented their election manifesto in the the school assembly and did campaigning. Students of Grades VI to XII were allowed to cast their votes.
Investiture ceremony

Weeks of bustle filing nominations, presenting election manifesto, election campaigning to garner votes and a democratic method of polling saw culmination in formation of student council for the academic year 2022-2023.
Investiture ceremony was held on 30th June 2022. The School NCC cadet escorted the principal , coordinator and administrator to the assembly ground by slow march. The ceremony began with an invocation song followed by welcome speech. The Principal adorned the student council members with badges and sashes and administered the oath. She also addressed the student council through an inspiring story . In her address, she emphasized on “leadership and responsibility “. The program concluded with the vote of thanks.
Club Inauguration
The Smart School provides ample opportunities for learners to overcome their inhibitions, realize their true potential and to inculcate ethics and values . 4 different clubs were inauguarated by on 30th June 2022. An introductory address was given by the conveners of all the clubs. They highlighted about their logo, objectives and plan of action.
