It was a unique role play by the students of I ‘C’. It showed the importance of all the numbers and how zero became a hero.

Krishna Janmashtami

Buntings are up, the lights on. Decorations adorn pathways at The Smart. It’s Krishna Janmashtami , a day to commemorate the birth of Lord Krishna, the eighth avatar of Lord Vishnu. Children were dressed up as Radha and Krishna. Songs, skits and dances were the main highlights of the day.

Ganesh Chaturthi Celebration

An air of festivity filled The Smart School where children wore ethnic dresses. A grand procession was taken out with Lord Ganesha in the lead. Amidst shouts of Ganapathi Bappa morya Pudhchya Varshi Lavkar ya, Ganesha was called by his 108 good names. Children were told stories of the Lord and served sumptuous sweet poha as prasadam. Indeed it was a real treatise for everyone to witness and be a part of such a grand celebration.
