On the special Occasion of Geetha Jayanthi, a grand Carnatic Vocal recital was organized in the school auditorium. Vid. Sri Sri Vidyabhushana Swamy, the vocal maestro, presented a concert consisting of Dasara Padas including some of the well-known verses of the Bhagavad Gita. He also paraphrased the verses with good examples and stressed on the relevance of the Gita in the present world. He delved on the importance of students knowing about the Gita, and how they can apply the practical thoughts embedded in the great epic, in their real life. The program was a real eye-opener for the students as well as the faculty members.

Vid. Sri Sri Vidyabhushana Swamy was very well accompanied on the Mridangam by Senior AIR artist, Vid. M R Sainath and on the violin by the young talented artist, Vid. S Janardhan.
