1st PTM
5th August 2023, 1st PTM was conducted for the classes I to IX. Parents play a vital role in providing quality education to the children. Mere admitting a child to a reputed institution will not serve the purpose. In this context, Principal and class teachers discussed with the parents about barriers/ the challenges for the students’ learning and development and the expected role of parents in combating these barriers/challenges.
INDEPENDENCE DAY
THE SMART SCHOOL celebrated 77th National Independence day on 15th August 2023, with great patriotic fervour. Our school chairman Sri L S Shamasundara Sharma and School Trustee Smt. Manjulamba, School Principal Smt.Poornima S D were escorted by School NCC Cadet and Scouts & Guides Troop and hoisted the National Flag at 9:15 AM. A cultural program was presented by the students. Parade, Patriotic songs, display, skit and speeches in different languages were the highlights of the program. The Smart School congratulated and felicitated the well – deserved success of class X and XII toppers for their meritorious performance in Board examination 2022-2023. Toppers received rewards from the school chairman and 9 students received cash prize and appreciation certificates from BSSCA.
ART INTEGRATION FIESTA
The students of class 9 and 10 organized “ART INTEGRATION FIESTA” on 22nd August 2023. This fest was an anthology of variety of art forms of Karnataka and Ladakh as defined under “ EK Bharath Shrestha Bharath” – an intiative of the Government of India to celebrate the concept of unity in diversity. Shri Ramesh Menon, Regional officer CBSE, Karnataka Region and Mrs. Mini Johny, treasurer of Bangalore Sahodaya School complex association has graced the occasion and appreciated the projects of students and teachers for guiding the students. Students from hub schools such as Vidya Sanskar International public school, Mahan Anjanadri school, KK education trust school, Vidyashrre High school and Vishwapragna school were also present.
THE TALENT BOUT
An interschool competition was organised by our school 0n 31st August 2023. Folk frolic, Power Point Presentation, Rashtra bhakthi geetha gayanam and piety the preceptor are the four competitions conducted and fifteen schools participated in this event. All participants received certificates of appreciation and attractive prizes were rewarded for winners.
